Hello everyone

I am feeling much better now, thank you so much for your concern.
Exams plus sore backs and necks = very unhappy clare.
I think all the pressure mounted and I just needed alittle break and instead of cooking or blogging I have been knitting! Very theraputic. I am just about to answer all the emails I have missed and come and say hi to everyone.

Ok…. so this isnt even supposed to be a wcb post…. it should be the HHDD3 round up….
Because I had the lst exam yesterday, so I should be happy right? Except yesterday afternoon a nasty drunk lady on her cell phone hit a bicycle (and its rider) into my mums car. She then drove off! But my neck and back are really sore and I have a nastyheadache (Sorry it is so whinny!) so I want to give it a rest and stay off the computer for a little while.

So the very lovely cat mistress from KL Maylasia Boo is going to handle WCB for me today.

You can check back alittle later for some Kiri cuteness……. hopefully she will put me in the roundup

So… as you already know, last weekend we took a long drive (3 1/2 hrs to Mudgee) and luckily we were able to find some cottages (at very late notice) that allowed pets, but we had 2 little puppy dogs and 1 dog hating kitty cat and we wanted to share 1 cabin. So during the day the puppies came winery hopping with us and Kiri had free run of the cabin, at night the pupsters had full the cabin and Kiri had our bedroom. But Kiri started to get jack of that, so have a look at what happens when a little grey kitty cat wants the cabin for hisself



LOL, it isn’t nearly as bad as it looks.
1) Raven weighs 31/2 kilos Kiri weighs 4 1/2
2) Raven is up in the attic with a big piece of wood between Kiri and Raven
3) No puppies or Kittys where hurt

All I can say is that Kiri and Raven are way to inquisitive, when the noses collided in the hole the last pic is what happened. SUprisingly though instead of Kiri being more upset, he seemed to handle the dogs better and would knock at the door and demand hugs and smooches in the same room as the dogs, before he went back.

I do have one more funny/scary story for today…

Casey went out this morning and when he came back he left the front door open with just the flywire security door shut ( I flywired the security door….) and we went to go for a bike ride when we noticed that the flywire on the bottom of the door was agape. I knew instantly that Kiri was gone, as I started to mentally prepare myself for hell, I went out the front and looked in there front yard and behind the brick wall was a very frightened Kiri. He hasn’t looked twice at the front door since. LOL

OOh! Where is Kiri going?
It looks like he is in the car with his harness on all set for a big Queens Birthday Weekend getaway (Happy Birthday Andy if u ready this…) As you can see Kiri is very content to sit on my lap and watch the world and especially the birds pass him bye.

We are off to Mudgee for a weekend of wine, olive and all the good things in life tasting so hopefully this post will be updated from a yet inknown internet cafe in NW NSW (from here anyway…….) The weekend could get interesting as there will be little dogs and Kiri in the same cabin due to bad, bad, bad bread and breakfast owners that booked us for the WRONG weekend. GRR!! But this is cheaper and I am sure will be more fun

For those interested in Kiris harness, yep he loves it. As soon as I get the harness out he is up at his harness putting on location purrrrrrrring whilst I put it on (no restraining required). I started putting the harness on Kiri from the second day we had him and we never had a problem, of course I didn’t try to walk him then I just let him wear it for awhile and get used to it, once he equated harness = going outside/holidays the training was done! So if you get a kitten start them straight away, and no pulling them just treats.

Also don’t forget to stay tuned for the HHDD3 roundup when I get back, I was hoping to have it up last night but its not quite finished

Hmm so how come cats know when there is something big planned?
It must be the way we act. I have been trying all week to get good movies of Kiri and it just has not worked! Trying to throw toys and get Kiri to bring them back whilst videotaping is not easy. Then when case came home Kiri wouldn’t fetch
So I was determined to get a good movie this weekend but I have been slightly impeded.

What are you doing I am sleepy! Don’t you know it is cold outside my little igloo? You want me to do what? Nooo… I want to sleep

So why was Kiri so reluctant to come out and play?

He has finally discovered our latest house accessory a heater. Notice that his igloo is optimally located right infront? I don’t think I would get up if I was him either. BAH!
