Ok, yes we have been very slack here at chez eatstuff. BUT that doesn’t mean we have been quiet!

The main problem has been those horrible spammers, My comment inbox (47 000+ spam comments) was so very full that it kept timing out on the database when I tried to delete the spam comments. I finally managed to convince Casey to FIX the problem, so he upgraded wordpress cause v1.5 sucked and couldn’t cope, but part of the carnage was that he DELETED ALL THE REAL COMMENTS! Hopefully they will return when ‘he’ finds the back up he swears he has made (ahem) but has misplaced (cough).

Also you will now notice that comments require “cryptograph” word verification, hopefully this will solve the problem of 200+ spam comments a day! as well as no longer ruining my ability to moderate comments.

Just to prove that some interesting food has been ingested since we last had a serious discussion on this topic here is some gratuitous seafood pron to keep you satisified

The reason that these are so interesting is that they were fresh local prawns from a local (to Tathra) estuary as there hadn’t been any rain (ie drought) and the estuarys had been closed for years. Both of which are required at the right time of year to make the prawns run…. they were so yummy, fresh, salty, sweet crispy. Enough said.

On some other slightly interesting news Casey and I will be getting married in… less than 2 weeks on the 2nd of June YAYA! So excited!

p.s. I would love to hear from anyone that is still out there and I promise the boy wont be allowed to delete comments again!

It’s my birthday, It’s my birthday!!!

Casey took me out for an pre bday dinner of Sushi, If you live in the Eastern Suburbs and haven’t been to Sushi Express in Bondi Juction I really recommend it, the fish is so fresh! I am not sure of the exact address though…. It is on the street parallel to the mall but closer to Randwick and the next block back. You have to go down the stairs to get to it, I think there is a dennys before it?

Anyway Casey said I completly embarrsed myself because I enjoyed the Kingfish Nigiri abit too much, and alittle to loudly…. oh well I don’t care LOL It was so good I couldn’t help it *blush* hhehe

Anyway, Casey is sooo sweet! He bought me a pink Ipod nano for my birthday! I LOVE IT !!!!!
