Don’t Forget the Friday Ark, or the Carnival of Cat

Poor Kiri, last weekend we had to dash off to a wedding. The motel that we stayed at doesn’t allow pets, so Kiri had to spend his first night in a cattery. Little did I realise, as we were running late but there was a hole in the wall and no heater. Ha! this is Australia what does that matter… well it was -4c that night! Kiri was so sad and scared when we picked him up and I was horrified. When I picked him up he just clung to me and hissed at the owner and the other cats. Luckily once we were back in the car he started to relax. We drove on to the Snowy Mountains to stay at Casey’s parents cabin. It took Kiri til the next dy to fully get over the shock, but he ended up having a great time as his hero “taffy” was there and Kiri had way to much fun tormenting him.
