Sometime before the “disapearance” Kirk had made a post about his meal of live uni. I had just been snorkling and been admiring all the sea urchins everywhere, after alittle prodding from Jo… I said that next time I went out I would get a sea urchin. So when I had picked myself up enough I went snorkling and got one.

It sure looks like a crazy beast in that photo. But that was after the roe had been removed. We were left with a small pile of orange eggs, I squeezed alittle fresh lemon juice on and we had a try.

Wow, so sweet and salty, alittle iodiney but they tasted alot like the oysters from down here sweet and salty. YUM! There is no time like the present to go out and bash down or off (as the case may be) some of those food barriers, even if you have to go and catch it yourself

BTW Kirk there are alot more of them out there and they were definately fresh and live!
