We have had a very long week so we decided to go out for Indonesian, our favourite! We noticed what we thought was a revamped restaurant, so thought we should check it out. We realised once we sat down that this was not the restaurant we thought it was, and that it was an Indonesian chain. We were very, very nervous. When We both asked for the Nasi Hainam Ayam and they were out at 7pm… We realised our fears may have been true. We figured we should just go with the flow. I ordered the house special, the Nasi Campur $10
.
Casey had the Bihun Ayam Jamur $7
They were both cold, mine was tasteless and Casey’s was late. I had to ask 3 times for chilli sauce and Casey did not get his soup. We also had some baso goreng $2, which were cold,

and an Es Cendol and Es Rentianga (rose flavoured, I hope I spelt that right) which were $3 each. The drinks were nice, but we had to wait for them to cool down before we could drink them.
All up $25, was it worth it? No, for less than this we could have had much better food. I hope that this bad service was only due to lack of experience. I don’t think we will be going back, it would cost way to much to get casey to step throught the front door again.
I will review some of our favourite Indonesian restaurants soon,
so you can see what they are up against. So, if you have been there, and didn’t like it, I promise there is much better Indonesian food out in Sydney.
WhatI don’t understand is ,why it was packed, we must be missing something surely.
